Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in San Antonio. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in Texas are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ7 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around San Antonio is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

βI had a really disappointing experience at Babbelong Bakery. When I asked for fresh bread, the employee was extremely dismissive, barely engaging and just offering a frozen loaf with no further explanation. The lack of care and basic customer service was really off-putting. I expect a friendlier, more attentive approach, especially in a bakery setting. I wonβt be returning, and I hope others are aware of how theyβre treated here.β

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. The guy who works there was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the whole situation uncomfortable. Good customer service should be a basic expectation, but this interaction felt disrespectful and completely unnecessary. The quality of the food is also really bad and looked old. I will never go back to this bakery, and I will make sure not to recommend it to anyone I know.

The atmosphere is small quaint Mom and Pop , but the flavors are grand . Samir was kind enough to stop his own lunch break and make me a meat pie Havenβt had one in a while (usually premade) but this one was fresh from the oven and it was delish . Iβm not familiar with Iraqi cuisine so Iβll come back to try the things I have not heard of .
